Before publishing, please confirm these 3 things — I flagged them instead of guessing, since a privacy policy is a legal document and these are factual claims about your business, not just branding:
- Original said “a DBA of Landmark Financial.” I removed this since I don’t know your actual legal entity structure — replace
[YOUR LEGAL ENTITY / DBA STRUCTURE]below with the correct wording, or delete the phrase if it doesn’t apply.- Original stated they’re a “financial institution” under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), which is what exempts them from most CCPA obligations. This is a legal classification — only keep it if it’s actually true for your business, otherwise your CCPA section needs different wording.
- Original address wasn’t listed anywhere on their Privacy Policy page (only an email), so I added your address to the Contact Us section since that’s the natural place for it.
Have an attorney review this before it goes live — this is boilerplate structure only, not legal advice.
